Obstetrics and Gynecology

Dr. Molly K. Setzer is a native of Syracuse, NY and completed her medical degree at New York College of Osteopathic Medicine. She then went on to complete her internship and residency training in Obstetrics and Gynecology at Womack Army Medical Center in Fort Bragg, NC. She is Double-Board certified by the American Board of Obstetrics and Gynecology and by the American Board of Osteopathic Obstetrics and Gynecology. She is also a Fellow of the American Congress of Obstetricians and Gynecologists (ACOG). She met her husband Cole, who was born and raised in the Hickory area, while serving as an OB/GYN Physician in the United States Army. Upon her Honorable Discharge from military service, Dr. Setzer moved to Hickory, NC to be closer to family and joined Catawba Women’s Center in 2021. She enjoys spending her time away from work with family on the farm and traveling. Her clinical interests are in adolescent gynecology, abnormal uterine bleeding, infertility, and incontinence management as well as routine and high-risk obstetrics.
